The African Catholic Community at Holy Name exists to promote the teachings of Roman Catholic Church; to strengthen the faith of its members; to perform humanitarian activities, including settlement of refugees, and support of the sick and the disadvantaged; to promote scholarship and spiritual training in accordance with the teaching of the Church; and to promote self esteem, respect for others, and good citizenship among its members. The African Catholic Community worships together every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Mass.
